NEW CEU PROGRAM-GREAT STUFF

This is a breakdown of our new CEU Program set to begin this month. In this we will cover what it will help you with and why we need this. I hope you all will ke advantage and attend the classes. The CEU Program (Continuing Education Units) is designed for the coach who is looking for further education and development in their coaching. This program will review the player in great detail and their learning habits at each age.
Examples are:
>What Training is Age Appropriate?
>How do Players Learn
>What to Expect from the Players
With the new programs that have developed in Great Basin Youth Soccer, we feel it is time to ask coaches to continue to educate themselves as our pool of players and their level increases. Our hope is that this information provided should help your understanding and develop a more successful training environment. For coaches wanting to coach in a more competitive arena, this is the foundation to moving toward your personal goals in coaching be it Premier Program, ODP or developing your team for State Cup. COACHES WANTING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR STAFF OF LEAGUE PROGRAMS OR ODP MUST COMPLETE AND MAINTAIN THE PROPER CEU'S.
Level 3; Premier/ODP, State Cup Teams
Level 2; Competitive Teams U12 and above
Level 1; U6-U10 Teams
This program is much needed as we need to challenge our players and teams for a more competitive community. With this we can help to improve on issues such as Poaching, Parent Comments and Development of our Level 2 players and teams. We now can enhance our player pool at the first stage.
For registration, please go to gbysl.org and click the coach’s link. The fee is 20.00 for 3 sessions of your choosing. You may attend any of the 3 levels of class but please try and select at least one class in your appropriate age
Group. Classes begin March 14th!
